What We Do?

The Tertiary Centralised Prospectus Portal launched on the 15 August 2025

Empowering Learners with Information for Informed Futures

After gathering data and engaging with learners, teachers, and communities, we revisited our approach to design a solution that effectively addresses the gaps in career guidance and education information. The result is the Tertiary Centralised Prospectus Project, a significant step toward simplifying decision-making and promoting equity in access to post-school opportunities across South Africa.


The Tertiary Centralised Prospectus Project is designed to complement Life Orientation and existing career guidance efforts by simplifying access to reliable, standardised career and study information. It supports both learners and teachers by providing precise, up-to-date data from 25 public universities and 50 public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges in one accessible resource.


By consolidating fragmented information into a central platform, the project makes it easier for learners to explore what and where to study, understand entry requirements, and build personalised prospectuses. It also offers teachers a trusted tool to enhance classroom activities and assignments, as well as support career decision-making.

The project aims to:

  • Simplify access to reliable information by standardising admission data across institutions in South Africa.
  • Equip learners to make informed choices through personalised prospectus-building tools.
  • Support teachers and schools by providing a complementary tool that enhances Life Orientation and career guidance activities.
  • Promote equity in decision-making by making quality information accessible to all learners, regardless of their location or available resources.

The transformative power of this portal lies in its strong commitment to national standardisation. By presenting admission information from 25 public universities and 50 public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges in a clear, uniform, and comparable format, it eliminates the confusion that often challenges prospective students.
